Local, Licensed & Insured
Ever had a rug turn sticky a week after a cleaning?
That tacky feeling is detergent the machine couldn't rinse back out. It dries inside the fiber and stays put, catching whatever the next pair of shoes carries onto the rug.
More about Cahaba Heights & Liberty Park
Rug pickup north of 280
Two parts of Vestavia Hills that nobody calls Vestavia
Cahaba Heights sits east of Mountain Brook and north of US-280 near I-459, with Crosshaven Drive running through the middle of it and The Summit at its edge. Liberty Park is across the interstate, off Liberty Parkway, and you know you are there when the small Statue of Liberty appears beside I-459. Both are part of Vestavia Hills, and both get their own run of the van.
A pickup here looks like this. The rug is unrolled where it sits, the technician reads the fiber, checks each dye and shows you any spot that will improve without disappearing, then measures it and writes the figure on the ticket. Nothing moves until you agree. At the plant it is dusted, washed to suit its fiber, rinsed, dried through and inspected, and it rides home most often inside 5 to 7 business days.
Cahaba Heights and Liberty Park, street by street
Crosshaven Drive to Liberty Parkway
In Cahaba Heights the van works Crosshaven Drive and Green Valley Road, Dolly Ridge Road down to the highway, Pump House Road and Cahaba Heights Road, where the new houses of Helen Ridge sit. Heights Village and Oliver Square are the landmarks the technician steers by, and the new townhomes on Bellwood Drive are on the same loop as the one-level homes on their big lots.
In Liberty Park it is the estate streets around Old Overton Club and the two lakes, Reflection Lake and Lake Reynolds, the denser homes and apartment buildings along Liberty Parkway, and the sidewalks and townhomes of The Bray. The van only needs your address.
What comes out of these homes
Formal-room wool, post-renovation rugs and the one the dog owns
The estate homes around Old Overton tend toward formal dining rooms with a wool, silk or antique rug under the table, bought to be kept. Those are handled by hand from the door to the plant: every color tested, fringe washed on its own, a cool wash and a flat dry, and worn edges flagged at the door, with any mending quoted once the wash is done, if you want it.
Cahaba Heights is a neighborhood of one-level houses on large lots, and a lot of them have been renovated, which means rugs coming out of storage and going back down on new floors. A rug that spent months rolled in a garage carries dust in its foundation; the dusting step shakes that loose before the rug ever gets wet. While the rugs are away, the technician can clean the sofa, the chairs and whatever carpet survived the remodel, in place, dry in about an hour.
Then there are the families, with two elementary schools, a middle school, two sports complexes and a dog park within a few minutes of each other. The family-room rug takes the muddy cleats and the muddier dog. A UV light at pickup lights up the accidents, the wash rinses the urine salts out from under the pile, and our 100% pet odor removal guarantee covers the treatment.

Questions from north of 280
What Cahaba Heights and Liberty Park customers ask
Do you pick up in Liberty Park as well as Cahaba Heights?
Yes, both, on the same run. Liberty Park is reached off I-459 at Liberty Parkway, and the van goes to the estate homes around Old Overton Club, the townhomes and houses in The Bray, and the apartments along the parkway, including the Livano Liberty Park buildings. Give us the building and a good spot to stop for an apartment pickup, and the technician carries the rolled rug down.
We just finished a renovation in Cahaba Heights. Should the rugs be washed before they go back down?
Usually, yes. Construction dust is fine enough to work through the pile and settle in the foundation, and a vacuum takes only the top of it. The plant's first step is the dusting, which gets that grit out dry before the wash, and the rug goes back on your new floors clean to the base. The technician can clean the sofa and any carpet that survived the remodel on the same visit, while the rugs are away.
Will you take an antique or silk rug from a house around Old Overton?
Yes, and we handle it as the piece it is. At your door the technician tests every color for bleeding, looks at the foundation and the fringe, and tells you about any wear before the rug is measured and priced. Silk gets very little water and no scrubbing; an antique wool rug gets a cool, gentle wash and a flat dry. Nothing is rushed, and any repair the rug could use is quoted separately once the wash is done.
A muddy dog from the Cahaba Heights Park dog run rolls on our rug every week. Can it be washed often?
A rug washed properly can be washed as often as it needs it. A synthetic family-room rug takes a hard wash and a full rinse and comes back soft; a wool one is washed cool so it keeps its size. After the wash we can add a fiber protection treatment that helps the rug shed the next muddy paw print and makes spills easier to blot, which stretches the time between washes. Ask for it when you book.
