Pinson is a town of bigger lots and outdoor dogs, and the rugs show it. The one by the back door takes a wet, happy dog straight off the trail. The stair runner takes the kids. Trail mud and dog smell come out of the base, not just the top
A rug that meets a wet dog every afternoon has two problems, and neither is on the surface. The first is dry soil: trail dust and grit that have been pressed into the base, which is dusted out before the rug is ever wet. The second is smell, which lives in the oils and the salts that have soaked down to the foundation. The wash takes it out from there, with an enzyme treatment where a UV light shows an accident, and the rug is rinsed clean and dried completely before it is rolled. That treatment carries our 100% pet odor removal guarantee.
The family wool rug is washed differently: dyes tested at your door, dusted slowly, washed cool, rinsed all the way through and dried flat so nothing shrinks or shifts, with the fringe done separately so it comes back the color it should be. A synthetic stair runner takes a harder wash and a strong rinse. Every one of them is dry to the backing before it goes on the van.

What dog owners and families here ask first
The dog comes home from Turkey Creek wet and muddy. How often should the rug be washed?
For a rug that takes a wet dog most days, once a year is a sensible rhythm, and sooner if it smells when the room is closed up or the color looks dull where the dog lies. Between washes, let mud dry and vacuum it out rather than wiping it in, and blot anything wet. A synthetic rug by the back door can be washed whenever it needs it without harm; it is the grit left in it, not the washing, that wears it out.
Could the red in my grandmother's hand-knotted rug from Palmerdale run in the wash?
It can on some rugs, which is why the colors are tested at your door first. A damp white cloth pressed on each color shows whether it is stable. If a red or a blue wants to move, the rug is washed with that in mind, with less water and a faster dry, and you are told at pickup what to expect. Most rugs test stable. A rug whose dyes have already bled in a past cleaning is pointed out honestly, because that cannot be reversed by a wash.
Can I book a pickup for my parents' house and pay for it myself?
Yes. Book under your name and give the office your parents' address and your number. The technician prices the rug at their door, texts you the written figure, and waits for your yes before the rug leaves. Delivery goes back to the same house, and payment can come from you once the rug is down and one of you has looked it over. It is an easy way for a son or daughter across town to handle it.
The family-room rug is too heavy for me to roll. Do I need to before the van comes?
Leave it where it is. The technician moves the furniture off it, inspects it flat, measures it, rolls it and carries it out; a very large or very heavy rug gets a second person. You never have to lift it, and you should not try, because folding a rug can crease it along the fold. At delivery it is carried in, unrolled where it belongs and the furniture goes back on it.
Will you wash the cowhide in our den?
Yes. A cowhide is cleaned for what it is, with the hair and the skin backing in mind, which is a different job from washing a wool or a synthetic rug. The technician checks it over at pickup, looks for dry or cracking spots on the back and prices it on the spot. It comes back with the hair clean and lying the right way and the hide still supple. Sheepskins are handled the same careful way.
