Most calls we get have more than a rug in them. The living-room rug has gone dull, the hallway carpet shows the path to the back door, and the sofa has belonged to the dog since the last trip to Ruffner Park. All three get handled on one visit, and only the rug leaves the house.
The rug gets the full treatment at our plant, because that is the only place the grit in its foundation can be dusted out and the whole thing washed and rinsed through. The carpet and the sofa are cleaned in the home by the same technician, with very little water, and are dry in about an hour.

One visit, three jobs
Everything else stays home and gets cleaned there
The pickup visit can also take in the wall-to-wall carpet, the stairs, the sofas and chairs and the mattresses, all cleaned in the home. Upholstery follows its care code, which is why a cotton sofa and a microfiber sectional are not treated the same way. Carpet is walkable in about an hour, with nothing sticky left to pull in the next round of dirt.
Offices are welcome too. A clinic waiting room or a lobby along Crestwood Boulevard can send its entry runner out and have the carpet cleaned on the same booking. Commercial carpet and rug cleaning has its own page.
Price is simple arithmetic: square feet times one rate. That rate sits around one or two dollars per square foot on average, and wool and silk share it with the synthetics; what changes with the fiber is the wash, not the number. The least any booking comes to is $99. The door is where the number gets written, and delivery is where it gets paid, unchanged.
The guarantee works like this. Once the rug is home, walk on it, look at it, and if any spot is not what you hoped, tell us which. The rug goes back to the plant, is washed a second time and returned at no charge.

If the rug goes out, who cleans the carpet it was sitting on?
The same technician, during the same stop, if you ask for it. Once the rug is rolled and loaded, the carpet underneath and the rest of the room are cleaned with very little water and are dry in about an hour. When the rug comes back 5 to 7 business days later, it goes down on clean carpet. Book both at once and you get one arrival time and one written price.
Do you pick up rugs from offices and waiting rooms on Crestwood Boulevard?
Yes. Entry runners, lobby rugs and waiting-room rugs are collected Monday through Saturday during business hours, measured and priced in writing at the door the same as a home pickup. The rug is away for 5 to 7 business days, so a spare mat for the doorway is a good idea. The carpet in the office can be cleaned on the same booking.
Will the wash get dog hair and trail grit out of a thick rug?
That is what the dusting step is for. Before the rug is washed, the dry grit and the hair are shaken out of the foundation, where a vacuum never reaches, and the wash and rinse take care of what is left in the pile. A thick shag or a wool rug takes longer to dry, and we never roll it until it is dry to the backing.
